Twin Tigers Acupuncture Grand Opening
January 30, 2008 – Twin Tigers Acupuncture will celebrate its grand opening from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, February 8, at its new office, 487 Windchime Place, Suite 301, Colorado Springs, Colo.
After seventeen years of working in the Western medical field, including 10 years as an emergency medical technician, Jennifer Mansur, L.Ac., Dipl.Ac., discovered acupuncture while attempting to overcome chronic pain caused by an autoimmune disorder.
“Western medicine eases the pain, but the relief often comes with too many ill side-effects,” says Jennifer. “When I tried acupuncture, my whole world changed. I could not believe the difference it made.”
The experience caused Jennifer to switch her career focus from Western to Eastern medicine. She received her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Degree from the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in 2002. She also has participated in internships in China, rehabilitation hospitals and school clinics.
Jennifer has helped hundreds of patients lose weight, quit smoking, overcome sterility and other maladies. However, her passion is to help other sufferers manage chronic pain caused by cancer, MS and other diseases.
Jennifer will officially open her practice the day after the Chinese New Year, traditionally a time for fresh starts and new ideas. She now is taking appointments, including evenings and weekends.
Jennifer Mansur is certified as a Diplomate in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Colorado. Her office is located at 487 Windchime Place, Suite 301, Colorado Springs, where Woodmen Road becomes Rockrimmon Road. Jennifer can be contacted at (719) 650-1421.
